This is very off-topic, but what else has the guy in the bottom-left picture done, TV or movie wise? I know I've seen him somewhere, but for the life of me I can't remember where.

That David Boreanz, who played Angel on Buffy and Angel.

It must be because he's smiling in the picture, and I don't think Angel ever did much of that.

I never connect the two because it looks like that he finally grew into his head on Bones. His head was too tiny for them shoulders on Buffy/Angel. Maybe because he is always hunching.
