I've have an academic/humorous interest in it and there have been a few fics I got into for other reasons that contained knotting but have never actually gotten off to it as a kink or searched specifically for it.

Usually my interest in unusual sex organs/behaviors/functions is directly linked to the character in question so if this is what I think this is about I wouldn't really have any interest in it.
