Half German (mom) and half Madeiran Portugese. I've always wondered - does Europe generally consider people from Portugal to be white? Or no?

Absolutely? Though there are still people in my country who consider Mediterranean people gypsies and I'm pretty sure that if it weren't for us, Eastern Europeans, people in Western countries would hate the Southerners the most (you're welcome South!).

I've always wondered. I know some people don't consider Italians/Spanish/Greek to be 'white'. Thanks!
