I always see robots as genderless and find it weird whenever they're referred to as a boy or girl. Though I'm used to hearing he/him used neutrally, people in fandoms always take that as meaning they're a boy so even that bothers me now. :\

But yeah, I wouldn't go around acting like BMO is some sort of genderqueer representation since they're a robot and not a more humanoid being.
