(Anonymous) 2012-09-28 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)I keep my lawn on the longer side. The tall grass help cover up the soil and make it harder for weeds to take root. Weed the dandelions right after a fresh rainfall is easier because of loose soil. You want to rip them out by their roots so they won't sprout again.
And yeah, salty water or boiling water on the driveway to kill the weeds.
