I feel the same about jobs. It's a strange idea to me that others can stay in one job for years and years and years because I get bored after like one year no matter how spectacular the job may be.
Takes all kinds to make the world go 'round.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-29 12:14 am (UTC)(link)Okay, not really. I have to admit that I was being a bit hyperbolic. It's just that there are a lot of people like this in my fandom, and I don't know how they can stand it. I admire their dedication, though. XD
Obviously you're not alone, there are always other fans out there that will feel the same and you can see this in the authors that skip around experimenting with different pairings or fandoms or just enjoying all sorts.
I know I'm not alone in that respect, but I sometimes wonder if there are other people who love a pairing, and then just can't stand it anymore and then fall back in love with it again. I feel like I can't have a steady relationship with pairings.
