I like to cut the banana in half, then peel from the exposed edges. I always think I'll just eat one half now and eat the other later. I've preferred it that way for as long as I can remember.

My mother said I liked those little mini bananas when I was a kid so I guess it's something to do with my preference towards a smaller portion size, and taking advantage of the fact cutting larger bananas down tends to make peeling more managable. It's weird, I know. It's probably psychological.

I like to do that when I'm at home but I normally eat bananas mostly as a on-the-go lunch so I can't take a knife with me. :)

When I'm at home banana is for ice cream, cereal, or peanut butter/nutella multigrain toast.

I've never had a baby banana. I've always wanted one but my mother eschews paying more for things like baby carrots and bananas and now I can't justify it either.

I lived in the tropics as a child so it wasn't such a big deal with me as a kid. :D We rarely buy baby bananas now, unless they were on sale in the asian supermarket.

I usually don't bring bananas outside unless it's in a plastic container so when I do I end up cutting them up in smaller chunks anyway! (With peels still on them!) Knowing my penchant for shoving things out of the way in my bags, an unprotected banana wouldn't last very long otherwise. XBBB
