Wait, how is Cartman extremely obviously gay or bi? And how is one more canonically straight than the others? Was it something in the last couple seasons? Because I stopped watching so that would make sense.

Because he seems to exhibit attraction to male characters, and I can't remember him ever exhibiting attraction to female characters? Because he arranges for other male characters to literally suck his balls, and his cock, and I don't think he's ever attempted that with a female character?

The reason for that might be quite simple: irony is funny.
Cartman hates "the faggots" and the joke is that he behaves the gayest out of the main four kids without even realizing it.

He's been attracted to Wendy and admitted to liking another girl on the show. I'd say he leans towards bisexual.

Kenny is always trying to have dates/sexual encounters. He's more sexual than any of the other boys (He steals his father's playboy magazines and whatnot, he was very excited his girlfriend was known for being with a lot of boys, etcetc) All of which are towards women/girls. If Kenny were gay or bi he would be actively trying to get with boys as well, which he is not.

Cartman...Well, besides the constant crossdressing and how he usually ends up having a man's genitals in his mouth...There was the last episode of the last season where he pretended to be gay, last weeks' episode where he enjoyed drinking semen, how he randomly hates on women (The 'a woman's mouth is the dirtiest place on earth and no man should stick his *ahem* in there, ever' for instance). There's also the rather frequent 'Cartman and Kyle are dating' jokes that have been showing up in the last few seasons. I think it's safe to assume he's at the very least bi.
