hussie is so magic you see, he knew his ms paint webcomic would be adopted by race-aware SJWs so he designed his characters to be free of race!!1 intentionally! from the beginning! he's a white man who is completely aware of his own privileges and biases and he would never be influenced to make a majority-white comic and then weasel out by claiming his characters are so vaguely drawn they could be anything! hussie is one in a million!

And I think it's weird not to be bothered by it. I think it's weird that people will go on and on about certain grammatical or spelling errors and yet give incorrect punctuation and capitalization a pass. If the former matters, then why not the latter?

Oh for fuck's sake, nobody thinks that Hussie is Magical Social Justice Jesus. I give far less of a shit about his original intentions for the comic than I do the net result of his making the aracial thing canon, i.e. a pretty considerable uptick in the number of fans who are actually thinking about this stuff and the positive effect that's had on the fanart/fic.

Not much there to go on except hair, and even then "dark hair that kinda swoops" might rule out a few races but isn't exclusive to any particular one.
