That's almost entirely opposite of how I've seen '/'s and 'x's used. While some people use name order in '/' pairings to indicate the top and bottom, I've more frequently seen people choose 1st name/2nd name based on alphabetical order, characters' ranks (in military-based fandoms, e.g. Star Trek), or main-character/minor-character. The 'x' pairings, otoh, have always indicated seme x uke (roughly, top/bottom) as far as I've noticed.
