(Anonymous) 2012-10-01 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)I think nobody should be jumped at for disliking any Pixar material. Pixar and Disney tend to get overhyped.
I'd advise you to stay anon, though. Pixar stans can get totally insane.
I remember a former fandom friend who freaked out over the fact I didn't like the Toy Story movies that much.
At first she only said the typical stuff like "you have no soul lol" and such, but after a while she got really personal and told me that my dislike for Pixar was a strong indicator that I had in fact a mental problem.
She tried to make me believe I was lacking compassion or "heart" or whatever. My inability to enjoy those wonderful, wholesome stories was proof that I was a bitter Ebenezer Scrooge type of person.
