I don't really get the significance of this at all, but um fine? This could be said of everyone. I guess most of us have weird things like this.

(Though I'll be Miss Nicpickey Jackass and state that would only constitute half their nucleous DNA, and none of their mitochondrial genetic matter which comes from the egg?)

Um, all human beings looked like this once... or rather, our father's-half-of-the-DNA did. That's the half that determines whether you turn out XX ("female") or XY ("male").

It fascinates me that people keep assuming sperm = being born male. Personally, I blame Woody Allen and "Every Thing You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)". Half of the queued-up sperm in the ejaculation skit should have been women!

But sperm are WAY smaller than an egg. The sperm your favorite actor was formed by was never a SIGNIFICANT part of him. A necessary part, yeah, but size wise, hell no.

Wait, what? No one started out as sperm. Sperm constitute half a persons genes as does the egg. A person, technically, starts out as an embryo. And that would encompass everyone.

Am I the only one who read this as a secret about one specific actor the OP has in mind? It says "a good portion of my favorite actor" - not actors, and "a good portion" just means the portion of him (or her) that wasn't the egg.

But what about all the sperm that didn't make it one the day that future part of your favorite actor happened to burrow into another future part of your favorite actor and begin to form what would become your favorite actor?

Tens of thousands of bits that could have potentially been a portion of your favorite actor, or someone else's favorite actor, shriveled up and died in the tomb that was your favorite actor's mother's internal genitalia. And, as for the other half, countless bits in that direction were expelled from your favorite actor's mother's internal genitalia over the course of her life -- discarded bunches of cells, needed not for the purpose for which they'd split. So, you see, OP, not only was a portion of your favorite actor once a sperm, but that portion was forged in the furnaces of Hell, a harried survivor surrounded on all sides by death and destruction -- as was the egg with which it ultimately paired. Conception is madness. It is a war, and the casualties are strewn like a deranged carpet across the barren landscape of Chance.
