LOL I'm from South America and call Americans yankees all the time.

USians sounds awful xD

I think something like "US American" sounds good, and doesn't involve too much of a change that people would never adapt to.

I actually kinda like that. Not a huge change, but more accurate. Much better than either USian or Yankee (the evil empire of baseball).
