Natalie Portman is a perfect example of how people with genius-level IQs can still be fucking idiots.

That said, that makes me fucking depressed. I grew up in a country where people still sometimes called me "Christ-killer" when they found out I was Jewish -- especially after they discovered that I wasn't too keen on my Israeli cousins being killed in suicide bombings -- and I was psyched that that shit wasn't tolerated in the US once I moved there. So much for that.

Man, as a Christian I've never understood the whole "Jewish people killed Christ" thing. The Bible obviously doesn't say that. The Romans had just as much of a hand in it (but you never see complaints about Italian people!) and it's pretty damn clear that the entirety of humanity is to blame for the sins of the world, not one race over the other. Not to mention that Jesus was a Jew.

I mean, I know it's just an excuse to be a racist dick, but it doesn't hold up at all, and doesn't make any sense to be something to constantly parrot...

anyway, rant aside, I'm sorry anon, that is an incredibly stupid opinion that people have and I really, really wish that it wasn't tolerated in the US or anywhere.
