My fiance and I held on through three years in separate countries, seeing each other twice a year. It wasn't marriage yet but the point of a relationship where you hardly see each other? That there are other things going for it than sex, however great that may be, and you don't have to be there to be there for someone.

That said I'm not wild about her myself, but it's their business how they roll.

Yeah, I'm in a long distance relationship too (we're going to get married when we're physically together and ready for marriage,) and "the point" is that I want to be with this person specifically. Being physically distant sucks, but any form of being with him is infinitely preferable to being with someone else. I'm not going to stop being with someone I'm in love with because they're far away, you know?
