When a friend of mine came back from Afghanistan, he said most of the men in his company were able to more or less keep their heads to together (hence all the training), but he was stunned not by who wilted and couldn't take it, but who turned out to be completely bloodless, or ruthless, or seemed to be enjoying themselves far, far too much. Apparently it wasn't who you'd expect.
