I totally understand. I think it's an intensity thing? It overloads your senses so much that your mind and body kind of kicks into a different gear that you're not used to and it can feel really euphoric and powerful in some ways sometimes because the experience is just so extreme and over-the-top compared to your default state.

I get the same thing with intense emotions. When I'm calm, I tend to say "um" a lot and talk a little rambling-ly with lots of qualifications and backtracking, but when I'm utterly furious or devastated or terrified, I'm absolutely crystal clear and direct and concise, because it's like my brain is operating on a completely different level and processing and filtering information in a completely different way.
