i actually think Y did a very good job dealing with the implications of that-- for all of the talk about yorick somehow "saving mankind" or whatever, none of that ended up happening. the future of humanity was dr. mann's cloning research, not anything yorick did.

the cover artists of Y were never quite as good at that kind of stuff as pia guerra was, i guess

although for that particular character i guess it's part of the point, since before the apocalypse she was a supermodel

Yes, Y had a lot of male gaze, but for this character it actually made sense. She was a model before the wipeout, and she mentions that she got breast implants right before all the men died, and how she was having to adjust to not making her way by impressing men. Now, when they sexualized the crap out of 355, it made no fucking sense, but for this woman it works.
