Ahaha, all I got out of this secret was the nuttery Dirk/Jake fans from Homestuck. I love Dirk/Jake a lot, but...

THEY KISSED SO IT'S 100% CANON OMG

I don't read Homestuck, but didn't Dirk have to kiss other people too?

Technically, Dirk has the highest kiss ratio of any character in the comic. However, the Dirk/Jake kiss was quite different (even though the function was the same) thanks to subtext and lots of other spoilery stuff.

In the end though? It's no 'canon' kiss, and people seem to quickly forget that they haven't had a real conversation about their feelings or anything else yet!

(Unfortunately the Dirk/Jake ship is filled with really immature yaoi fanbrats. It's a shame, because it's a good, complex ship that doesn't deserve to be reduced down like this!)

(... I have a lot of feelings on this subject apparently.)
