This makes sense to me, and I don't really get why everyone's so hostile (Failure of #1 in particular is often a sign of a fandom it's really, REALLY better not to get involved in.)

I just don't find kink memes to be particularly representative of their fandoms as a whole, so using them as a measure in this case is inaccurate and not useful.

not to mention the "CONTROVERSIES" over dub- and non-con prompts have been universally fucking stupid and should make any sane, non-SJW roll their eyes.

Not to mention that it makes those of us looking for REAL (as in what has been agreed-upon for decades in FICTION) dubcon and noncon stories totally lost and frustrated.
