I generally allow for exceptions but yeah, I'd say those are some good general indicators. And hey, if they cut down on triggering... I mean, I'm seeing several people say that you're missing out but if you've got big trigger issues, that's probably more important to you than potentially missing some awesome piece of fanfic (and if something is awesome enough you'll probably hear about it anyway and can go look at it individually).
