I'm exactly the same way. And I get the feeling that what I actually like most about the fanart isn't actually in the comic itself.

That and I've already mentioned around here how much I hate seeing it everywhere, awesome art aside.

Oh and the fans are super fucking defensive. They'll probably descend on you shortly.

Yeah, I've noticed, lol. I dared to say I don't like Homestuck to an obsessed friend and she acted like I had offered to kick her puppy. 'Well, you just have to read past the first act! It gets better! You obviously need to read the whole thing before you can comment on it.'

And then there's the people who whine about people disliking Homestuck, only to turn around and shit all over Supernatural/Sherlock/Dr. Who/whatever's not Homestuck...

We are the only fans who have something good enough to justify the obsession. The rest of them really are just freaks.
