Besides the secret has nothing to do with oppression. It has to do with the validity of asexuality which is nobody's fucking business just as the validity of lgbt isn't.

One of my favorite ships in Glee is Kurt/Blaine, and yes, it's the thing I consume most, because there's just so much more of it than my actual favorite ship, which is Santana/Quinn, of which there seems to be a grand total of two fanworks for. I think Kurt and Blaine are cute, and Santana and Quinn are beautiful. That doesn't make me any more or less of a panromantic asexual than anybody else.
