(Anonymous) 2012-10-09 04:12 am (UTC)(link)When I was just starting in fandom I read a fic by a woman who'd been doing Kirk/Spock fanzines in the 60s, she was now a grandmother and still writing fic. And I thought she was awesome.
So no, you don't get "too old" for fandom. Silly anon. You might have less time for fandom because of adult obligations, but college students who have busy schedules keep up with fandoms too, and high schoolers applying to college. It's only when it stops being fun for you that you should stop.
