Hahah omegaverse is practically the polar opposite of my own kinks, so this is the only thing that would ever get me to read a fic of that ilk.

What if the omegas did indeed revolt? Started a movement that got enshrined in law that heat is not consent? Or discovered a means of suppressing heat altogether (a la hormonal birth control)?

the closest thing I can think of atm are sherlock omegaverse fics where john's heat suppresion pills failed to work and sherlock claimed him to save him from other alphas 0_o

There's an MCU one (Coulson/Darcy) with heat suppressants. I've not read many omegaverse stories, but that one intrigued me because the pairing alpha has self-control and they actually negotiate the omega's heats.

Also het, which is rare.
