Sorry, that storyline was way to creepy. Dukat could only be romantic with one person, himself. Otherwise...just creepy. Like giving a romantic storyline between Eichmann and a concentration camp survivor.

Seriously: you could successfully do a very dark story along those lines, but one of the things I like about Kira is that she never fell for Dukat's creepy manipulativeness - I thought the line she has somewhere where she say "What your father wants for me is forgiveness" was bang on - and Dukat seemed primarily to understand being forgiven by the Bajorans as getting their women to go to bed with him. He's a sexual predator, and while he's a brilliant character, I'm glad he didn't get to turn Kira into a notch on his bedpost.
