I'm not familiar with the specific instance, but in general... it really depends for me. On the antagonist, on the nature of the humiliation, to what extent the protagonists instigate it. If Snidely Whiplash is getting out of the bath, trips on a cat, falls down the stairs into a barrel of honey, and is chased out of town by ants, that's funny. If Rebellious Minion #2 steals Snidely Whiplash's clothes and pushes down the stairs into a barrel of honey, etc., that's funny. If Dudley Do-Right steals Snidely Whiplash's-- No, actually, that's still funny, because it's Dudley Do-Right. But if a real fleshed-out supposed-to-be-sympathetic character pushes the villain down the stairs, then it's a little funny, but also, "Really? Is that necessary? Isn't that petty? Isn't there some more productive use of those resources?"

TL;DR I'm often okay with the narrative humiliating the villain when I wouldn't be okay with the protagonist doing it.

This is a great distiniction! Thanks for pointing it out for me, because you're right - I hate it when the villian is mocked or bullied or humiliated by the protagonists, but I like it when he brings his own destruction on himself through his own actions.
