Yes, because other comic book heroes are so much better amiriteorwat? I mean, Marvel's the only comic book publisher who has heroes that are either: a) people from a mythologically-based warrior people who have godlike powers, b) aliens with god-like powers, c) brooding vigilantes who want to right ALL THE CRIMES!, d) young people trying to come of age as they deal with superpowers and/or the antics of the latest villain of the week, or e) embody countless other tropes designed to appeal to the hearts (and wallets) of pre-teens and teens everywhere...

Wait, doesn't that describe every comic superhero ever? Why, yes, yes it does! Fancy that!

OP, I'm so glad I live in a world where entertainment isn't determined by elitist arseholes and hipsters who think that only the things *they* like should be made.

it's all in how you write 'em, and marvel comics haven't been written well in decades
