I have the exact same fears, only concerning my fanart. There's barely anyone drawing for the same characters as I do, so I tend to turn up a lot more than I'd like to. It's silly, but I've started to leave out some tags on tumblr because of that sort of thing already...

all that to say: you're not alone. But hey, at least you get recced! So you must do something right for at least a few people. And if it's anon-fic, it probably means they really like the fic, regardless of the name behind it.
