Heh, I'm kind of the same way. I've got a fair-sized scar on one arm from a door. (Nothing dramatic happened, just a bit of metal poked out and it slid along my arm as the door closed. Barely even noticed it at the time. Three inch scar now.)

I like when characters keep scars. When it's a plot-point scar, I hope it stays, but I like it even better when it's just innocuous, hard-living scars that just sort of stay around. I can understand not wanting to have to do make-up for something that simple in every episode, but when they do put in the extra effort, I usually notice and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling (the attention to detail, not the scarring itself).

This secret kind of made me think of the Clint/Coulson (and Clint/Natasha) fandom. Seems like every time it's naked time, there's at least a throw-away line about the agents having plenty of scars, because dangit, they do dangerous stuff.
