Yes, this. I'm getting sick of this wank, and I'm not even in the fandom. Nor have I seen either show. Come on guys, enjoy your fandoms and let other people enjoy theirs.

NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I MUST WANK ABOUT MY FAVORITE BEING THE FAR SUPERIOR ADAPTATION AND THE 'OTHER' ONE BEING A WHITE-HOT MESS OF A SHOW WITH NO REDEEMING VALUE. BECAUSE, YOU SEE, IF I WANK HARD ENOUGH AND LONG ENOUGH I WILL EVENTUALLY WIN AND MY SHOW WILL BE THE BEST ONE EVER AS OPPOSED TO THAT 'OTHER' ONE BEING CLEARLY THE INFERIOR REMAKE.
