(Anonymous) 2012-10-14 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)I mean, the biggest forums used to require you submit a resume proving that you never shipped anyone else from the show, and never did anything slash, and if they caught you lying about that they'd instantly ban you and lead a harassment campaign against you.
I had a friend who wrote fic for a slash pairing at the time, and she used to share all the batshit e-mails and notes and whatnot she would get from Danny/Sam shippers on how she was horrible and must secretly hate the show and hate the creator of it and deserved to die for shipping something other than Danny/Sam.
