I just re-read The Confession and I have too many feelings about it. Sometimes I am afraid to say I am Team!Tony

Sometimes I'm Team Tony just because the anti-Reg side was so revoltingly self-satisfied and self-righteous and deaf to all subtlety and sneeringly judgmental that it made me want to vomit, even though they were right, ideology-wise (because yes, fascism=bad).

And if the pro-Reg side had actually been portrayed as people who thought Registration was a fucking horrible idea but were terrified that the government was going to start mowing their friends down in droves otherwise, which was the sneaky vibe I kept getting when I was away from the main story's faux-political dickery, I'd have actually absolutely detested the anti-reg side and its morally superior smugness with a vengeance.
