all the 'friends' I've made on friending memes never actually talked to me. I ended up feeling really awkward and removing them after making a few feeble attempts...so yeah, I don't do them anymore.

I'm just only active in small bursts, so I end up not talking to anyone for weeks, then talking to EVERYONE for like two days.

Oh man that's me to a T. Me being that person who will friend or be friended on memes, but never actually talk to the people from them. Unless we run into eachother often enough on places outside of our journals, I get so crazy shy about re-approaching them because we might not even had had a conversation outside of the friending meme before.

hehe this happens to me too. i think it's easier making friends just by talking to people frequently rather than blindly seeking people with one or two similar interests.
