Re: I forgot how fun it is to learn languages!
durpWait til you take a few more semesters, it'll be like unfolding a ridiculously awesome puzzle when you learn about the 10 forms, and how you can figure out what a word is doing based on the root word and the form.
(protip: sin and Saad will have different effects on the vowels that succeed them, same with dhaal and Daad, kef and qef, etc. Saad, Daad, Thaad will all produce dark vowels in the back of the throat. Seen, tet, dhaal, will all produce vowels that are light and in the front of the mouth.)
At the moment, I'm picking up Chinese from a friend. I'm hoping to either brush up on my Arabic next semester, or take some Korean or Russia. I have a freakish knack for languages, not gonna lie.
