Anon, there isn't an arbitrary age limit for making friends. You have as long as the rest of your life to form as many meaningful relationships as you want. You don't have to stop until the day you die.

I know fandom runs a little young, but come on, guys. Getting older (even as ancient as your late 30s and beyond!) doesn't mean you enter some sort of braindead purgatory for geezers.
