My LJ/DW Contains Mostly: My DW is just for communities (well, so far just this community), although if I ever get back into fic-writing I'll probably put it here. My LJ is rarely updated and when it is, I mostly just squeal about fandom and talk about my personal life, which lately has been dominated by my fibromyalgia.
Other: I don't update a lot but I check my flist every day and would love some new friends.

Both I and my mother have fibromyalgia, and I wanted to say that I'm so sorry you have to deal with it. :( it sucks so bad.

Another young person with fibromyalgia! I hope you have some way of managing it especially now that winter is coming (or is it just me that get ten times worse when it gets cold?)

Wow, I'm surprised to find so many others with fibro on here. My mom and I have it too. I'm definitely dreading this winter. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has trouble when the weather changes.

You really aren't, but like every winter we will pull through (and if I'm lucky they can find some pain killers that work).

Oh goddess I know :( I have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Before the RA winter was actually my best season. I think probably because my skin gets cold super easy and it sorta numbs a little? I didn't have joint issues at that point but now, the cold makes my hands and shoulders and hips and knees throb. (This is actually why I usually don't get onto F!S until way late -- my pain generally doesn't back down enough for me to type for any length of time until the wee hours of the night.)

Nowadays I have no "good" season. Summer is hell because I get heatsick super easy, winter is hell because arthritis, spring and fall are hell because weather and pressure changes. FML.

It's definitely not just you. October used to be my favorite month, and it still is (NOM ALL THE PUMPKIN-FLAVORED THINGS), but the constantly-fluctuating temperatures have been killing me. I don't even want to contemplate actual winter yet.

I don't think I've ever tasted anything pumpkin related... Oh except roasted pumpkin seeds, which didn't taste much really, except salt and spices.
