The logic of that movie has a bit of a flaw, yes. But if the toys started talking, the entire premise would change to newspaper headlines going "Toys Are Alive: Holy Shit." "Do They Get To Vote?" "What Does This Mean For Labor?"

I would totally watch that movie. Someone should do a dark spinoff with that premise.
