Eh, they at least got good songs like Somebody That I Used to Know on the charts, so I don't begrudge them for covering songs instead of writing originals. I do find the characters unfunny and uninteresting, so I'm not going to watch the show, but I don't really care too much about them covering songs.

Also they totally violated that song. I quite liked it, but the Glee version's pretty shitty.

OPINIONS, etc, but I like it and it's pretty unusual for a song like that to hit the pop charts.

Although I do agree that I don't like the Glee version of it. But whatever, they still popularized the song, so it makes me happy.

USA charts? Because the UK top 40 had it in a lot and the radios seriously overplayed it to the point of making people who loved it, hate it.

I think that probably happened in the USA, too, but I don't listen much to radio so it didn't bother me too much. I wouldn't have been aware of it if it at all if it hadn't gotten popular, though, which is why I'm happy about it, since I like the song.
