I would have legit cried if I had been spoiled on any of the Harry Potter books :( The fact that I had absolutely no frickin' idea whatsoever about anything that was going to happen was a HUGE part of the experience of the experience for me. Heck, I don't even look at shit for upcoming movies apart from theatrical trailers and promos I see on TV, I like surprises so much.

Spoilers can sometimes be good though. The fact that I was heavily spoiled on Buffy and Angel before I even thought about watching either show made the wallbangers way, way easier to brush off, because that way I didn't go in having different expectations that could get horribly dashed.
