the way you've described this sounds incredibly dramatic, which means i feel like your story has to be a fully blown novel with characters and dialogue and an appendix of facts and a general plotline.

When I hear secrets like this, I always wonder the fandom. I mean, if someone came into the Stargate fandom and suddenly they said X, I think maybe like three people would care because there are *so* many facets, so many places that this fandom resides, some don't even overlap entirely. There are BNFs within my ship fandom, but I couldn't name a BNF for the WHOLE fandom. Not a one.

This has been my experience with the one or two other fandoms I've dabbled in. What fandom is *so* cohesive that there would be enough people who would get outraged?

Wow, get some damn therapy all of you. Doing this in a fandom is just as fucked up as doing it in real life. Social games, power addiction are self soothing for your ego and the stress of your life. They aren't real friendship. This person is a bully. That shouldn't be looked up to. My friends work hard to be kind, fair, and genuine in fandom. We work hard to keep peace and protect the younger, less competitive members of fandom. Congratulations, you're a bully. Popular doesn't mean loved. I hope you are exposed someday by an outside source and have to suffer all that you have inflicted.

Write a book about it.

Why not do it?

If you want the story told right (at least right from your POV), why don't you just write it up and post it? I can bet you a lot of people would read it for the wank factor. Also, if it's the fandom I've been thinking of, what can the former BNF crowd do to you now?

I, for one, would LOVE to read it. Fandom drama is always beautiful to me.

House is the only fandom I can think of that had BNFs everywhere, not just cliques on each website. Or maybe I just really want this to be the House fandom and the OP to post a detailed account of all the BTS stuff. That fandom had some major bitches in it and the only BNF that's still hanging on with her super!exclusive Hugh Laurie comm was one of the worst of them. I can easily believe this is her secret.

I don't even care what fandom it's for, but epic-length, drawn out wanks of the magnitude you make yours sound like are fantastic to read. If yours is even half as epic as you make it sound, I'd love to read the expose to kill a few hours.
