I think you are being a bit too hasty with the "I'll never be in fandom again." You have a lot more life ahead of you. Decades. And your tastes in things aren't going to change that dramatically.

You are burned out of fandom now (and that's normal) so you give it a break for a couple of years. Then, one day, you'll see a new show or read a new book or watch a new movie that gets your imagination jumping, and you'll remember "hey fandom!" Then, bang, like that, you are back in again.

So don't feel too sad about it. Go refresh yourself doing something else. Fandom isn't going anywhere.

This. I fell out of fandom for a while around 19-22, now I'm getting back in it again. You may just not be interested right now, so just take a break and come back whenever you're ready. :)

I came here to say exactly this. Interests change and change and change again. You never know what you'll be into five or ten or twenty years down the line.
