I hate tumblr. I hope it's a flash in the pan and people start to go back to a system that lets people carry on conversations properly in comment threads, not by reblogging shitty picspams.

It's not more a flash in the pan than LJ. It will come, and will stay for a decade or so and then something else will replace it. I've been around since mailing lists so I've just started to pick up on this cycle.

I actually don't even participate in fandom via tumblr. I still use ye olde ways of fandoming and use tumblr to reblog pretty things I like and to watch for updates and comments of some of the webcomic and book authors I like. Something tells me I'm probably doing it wrong, but who cares?
