I kind of felt like this through a majority of my late teens and through until I turned 21, but mostly that was because I was so focused on ONE FANDOM, that when I got out I was like "I'm good. Done. Don't need it."

And then after a while I found new things to get excited about, and now I just have a few toes in a ton of different fandom pools. I don't want to get so involved in one that I miss out on fun things in another.

Don't write it off as "Never again" yet. You can be shallowly invested in a lot of things and have just as much fun as being deeply invested in one.
