Trying running the children's department at a bookstore in a really ethnically and racially diverse area (my nearest high school has about forty native languages among its students), and you will learn that people OF ANY RACE can be assholes and have disrespectful children. It's just the truth, plain and simple.

Or in a public library. Probably--actually I'm just going to say certainly, even though I've never worked in one--in a toy store. Any place you get lots of kids in public, basically. Amusement parks must be horrifying to work in sometimes.
