Cosplay's about having fun, not worrying about your weight. There's nothing wrong with being a "fat" cosplayer. xP I was one of the people that "complimented" that shop, and it wasn't because "OMGZ SHE IS THIN AND PRIDDY NOW THANK GOD" but as someone that works with photoshop a lot, I appreciate something like that because IMO, they did make the person look "Vogue magazine" pretty.

FAT PEOPLE AND GUYS AND BLACK PEOPLE CAN COSPLAY TOO 8D

I wouldn't cosplay myself, but it's not because I'm a British size 14, it's because because making the costume sounds far too much like work to me. But woo yeah, cosplay is about the fun. The people who take it seriously enough to be nasty about it are the losers.
