Being in love with a fictional character often gets you cries of "batshit," and for a logical reason, but if you had to pick one Al is a great one and I kind of understand where you're coming from. Hey, I'm, sorry this is, uh, coming pretty much out of nowhere, but do you know where the image from the FST came from? Of Rukia in the purple and Ichigo behind her? I've been looking for a few days and I just can't seem to find the original. If you have any idea, that would be great. I'd ask the OP, but I can't for obvious reasons.

3. I think most of the comments were about the photoshopping itself, not if the girl looked better or not. Like "whoa that's such a great job!" != girl is prettier/better/etc. Or at least that's what I thought anyway.

3. Cosplay is for fun. However, online nothing is safe. I'm tiny and have been called 'fat' in cosplay -- okay so it wasn't really serious considering the source but the point is, no one is safe where cosplay is concerned. Good cosplayers get more flak than anyone because omg, they're bitches 'cos they didn't respond to my emails or tell me all their secrets, or perhaps -- god forbid -- they didn't realize you were trying to get their picture at a con because you didn't ask and so they walked away but, no they must hate you! I personally thought that picture looked very weird after being shopped because it looked plastic, but regardless of that as long as you take the time and effort to try to make something good, that's all that should matter. Ignore what gets said online. Some dumbass recently made a blog about why Americans shouldn't cosplay all the while using the best of the best of Japanese cosplayers and the very worst of the American -- kind of biased argument don't you think? So really, if you want to, just do it and ignore what others say. You'll find that most of us who do cosplay are really nice contrary to what many believe.

10. I love Orihime. I'll never understand why people bash her so. She's willing to die for her friends -- come on, you know she knows she's going to if she actually tries to make the Orb of Distortion never exist. Aizen would kill her, and she'd accept that because she's just awesome like that.

21. Aww. I'd name my cat something fandom related if it fit. I used to joke about getting a black Bombay cat and naming it Vincent Valentine and getting it a cat bed that looked like a coffin.

1. Man, me too! Holmes is one of my favorite literary characters ever :( I wonder if you play The Game, then? You know, where Mr. Conan Doyle was writing up true accounts and he merely used fake names for all the characters/locations in order to keep their true identities secret, that sort of thing.

16. I do something like that, except in pairing songs on the radio with fandoms, I tend to try pairing songs with my favorite books, like a theme song of sorts :') Pairing things with songs is a lot of fun, isn't it? Although I'm sure I'd get a few odd looks here and there regarding what songs I've paired with what books, but that's me (and I imaging opening intros to the books with the songs, too, as if it were an animated series XD)
