I like Regina, but Man-Oh-Man. The reason she was given for hating Snow, well, I find it utterly ridiculousness. Snow was a child, and Cora manipulated the situation to find out what she needed to. Also... Cora is the one who ripped Daniel's heart out and killed him, not freaking Snow. It would make much more sense to me, if Regina held that grudge against her mother instead.

I'd argue that the whole 'throwing her mum into a magic mirror' showed that she did hate her for what happened to Daniel. Just, it's easier to act out against someone who can't really fight back as opposed to a really powerful witch who has been emotionally manipulating you your entire life.

NAYRT but....I'm not so sure. That came across to me more as Regina trying to escape Cora's control, rather than revenge.

She was undeniable trying to escape Cora's control, but it could be both. The murder of Daniel could have been the tipping point and so she got a handy two for one deal.

That would imply emotional logic. People love and defend their abusers all the time and blame relatively innocent people as a deflection. Is it supposed to be a 'good' reason or one that denotes an unhealthy mind, allowing the viewer to see the comparisons between people in trouble with support systems and those who are completely isolated?
