*sigh* Another complaint about the art. I've been there. I was like that before I started but really, once you get into it you don't even notice it. Just watch the subbed version of the anime, the characters voices fit the characters PERFECTLY and give life to it all and you get sucked into the atmosphere.

Seriously, the relationship between all the Strawhats is so natural and endearing. I feel sorry for anyone who misses out on that just because they don't like the art.

Also, One Piece is one of the most hilarious anime's I have ever seen. The comedy is top notch and the characters are lovable.

There is a very good reason this anime/manga is popular. You should judge it on the content and characters, not the art. Or else your seriously missing out.

No. Manga is a completely visual storytelling medium. OP, HxH, and DBZ are popular because they're marketed by geniuses. Popular =/= good.
