Oh, I didn't see your "no new canon" thing. It has one half-season left, airing next year. But I have seen almost every other "good" show on the air except Boardwalk Empire, and anyone who doesn't believe Breaking Bad is the best show on TV right now, IMO, has not actually watched Breaking Bad.

Homeland is also very, very good, but it only has one season so far.
